Shelou Mae Bandivas-Casiño Obituary: 31-Year-Old Beloved Wife and Kind-Hearted Soul Has Passed Away in Cagayan de Oro

 


It is with heartfelt sorrow that we share the passing of Shelou Mae Bandivas-Casiño, who peacefully departed this life on June 17, 2025, at the age of 31. Her untimely loss has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving deeply, as they remember a woman known for her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit.

Shelou Mae was admired for the radiant smile she wore so often and for the love and compassion she showed to those around her. Described as a gentle soul who gave love sincerely and lived with grace, she touched many lives with her presence. Although her time on earth was not as long as many would have hoped, the impact she made during her life continues to be felt by those closest to her.

Those mourning her loss speak of a woman who was deeply devoted to her family and who lived a life guided by love, humility, and quiet strength. Her legacy includes countless memories of joy, encouragement, and meaningful connection with the people who knew her best. Whether in moments of laughter or through quiet acts of care, Shelou’s presence had a way of making others feel appreciated and seen.

As her loved ones begin the difficult journey of grief and remembrance, they have invited family, friends, and members of the community to gather together and honor her life. The wake is currently being held at St. Peter Chapel in Iponan from June 17 to June 21, 2025. A special tribute is scheduled for Friday, June 20, at 8:00 PM, offering an opportunity to celebrate her life and share stories, prayers, and memories.

The final farewell and burial service will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Old Chapel of Eternal Gardens (Greenhills) in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro. This final tribute will allow family and friends to come together to say goodbye and pay their last respects.

During this incredibly painful time, the family has expressed their appreciation for the outpouring of support, prayers, and kind messages they’ve received. The strength of a community becomes most visible in times of loss, and those surrounding the family are offering their love to help them navigate this difficult chapter.

Though Shelou Mae Bandivas-Casiño may no longer be physically present, her memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her legacy is one of love, humility, and compassion—qualities that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
